Guillermo del Toro‘s follow-up to Pacific Rim, Crimson Peak, just got official. The period haunted house story will start filming in Toronto February 2014 set for release April 2015. Co-written by del Toro and Matthew Robbins, it’ll be filmed under the production title Haunted Peak, while retaining the original title for release.

預計2014年的二月在多倫多開始進行拍攝，在2015年的四月公開上映。

TORONTO — Tom Hiddleston is taking over Benedict Cumberbatch’s role in Guillermo Del Toro’s gothic romance film Crimson Peak, it was announced on Friday, but there’s no bad blood between the two English stars.
“The thing is we’re really good friends, and as soon as Guillermo called, I called Benedict and I said this is happening, and he was like, ‘Amazing!’” Hiddleston told BuzzFeed on Friday, soon after the news was announced. “So, I had his blessing.” 

“As these things do, they sent me the script about two weeks ago and it was a very new draft,” Hiddleston explained. “I know Mia [Wasikowska], who I’ll be playing with very closely, and I know Jessica Chastain very well. I’ve met Guillermo before. And we are all admirers of each others’ stuff. And everyone said yes! I’m really, really excited about it. I’ll be shooting here in Toronto in February.”

Hiddleston is in Toronto at the moment to promote another gothic romance, Jim Jarmusch’s film Only Lovers Left Alive, which co-stars Wasikowska, Tilda Swinton, and Anton Yelchin. Having worked with both Cumberbatch (on Star Trek Into Darkness) and Hiddleston, Yelchin — who was sitting next to the latter star during the interview — was asked which Englishman had a crazier fan base.

 這兩位之前還傳聞在約會，不過在Tom帶正牌女友去看網球公開賽後就證明只是謠言而已。

 這兩位才正在宣傳Only Lovers Left Alive，接下來又要繼續合作囉。

這選角過程簡直比電影還精彩啊XD

Benedict Cumberbatch has exited Crimson Peak, the Legendary horror movie being directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Charlie Hunnam, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska remain on board to star in the four-hander gothic horror story that centers on a woman who discovers that her husband might not be who he appears to be.No reason for his departure was given, although sources say his exit is not due to another project.

BC退出"Crimson Peak"計畫，並非行程衝突但不知道原因為合。
這片選角真是波折不斷，Emma Stone後現在主角之一的BC也不演了，明年一月開拍前有沒有可能又有主角退出呢......

Tonally, Del Toro said Crimson Peak "has moments that are very visceral, physical violence.  You're in this sort of sedate romance and then there is this brutal moment where you're like, "Whoa!"  And it has a lot of kinky moments."

The ever-busy Emma Stone has departed Guillermo Del Toro’s haunted house horror pic “Crimson Peak” over a scheduling issue, and the probably just as busy Mia Wasikowska is now in talks to replace her, according toThe Wrap. Benedict Cumberbatch, Jessica Chastain and Del Toro’s “Pacific Rim” star Charlie Hunnam are already part of the stellar young cast.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........Emma....超想看BC和她一起合作的......

由於這部電影還在前置期，演員可能有很多原因會增加或更換，

但是我個人是希望都不要換.....兩位女主角我都超愛的。

依照導演的資歷(雖然我幾乎都沒看過)，這部片應該也不會太令人失望；

編導的地獄怪客1、2和羊男的迷宮都有不錯的口碑，也參與了哈比人三集的劇本編寫，

至於接下來的環太平洋Pacific Rim，雖然我個人興趣不大但周遭的人好像都滿期待。

其中導演提到:

“It’s a very traditional Gothic romance,” del Toro told Fangoria, “and at the same time very modern in the sense that it has strong sex and violence. I’ve never done a movie that has anything remotely kinky, but this movie is a little kinky and the violence is very shocking. So you’re traversing through a tranquil Gothic romance, and all of a sudden this terrifying and sexual stuff comes in. It’s very much a haunted-house movie, but I don’t think there’s a ghost of a chance that we’ll get a PG-13 rating.”

看樣子應該會很有突破性的演出。


如果演員一切都沒改變，不管BC的配對是Emma Stone還是Jessica Chastain都不錯，
但是個人覺得後者不論是演技還是氣質都比較適合

JC感覺私底下也是個很真的女演員

在Palm Springs影展看到Gary Oldman，像個Fangirl一樣尖叫最後還哭了XDD
